Ms. Kate Miller has been Global Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Unum Group since July 15, 2013 and serves as its Global Chief Information Officer. Ms. Miller guide the implementation of new technology, oversee application development initiatives and continue to keep Unum's technology strategy aligned with business goals. She served as the Associate Chief Information Officer of Applications Development for the Internal Revenue Service, Washington, D.C. Ms. Miller led the software development, maintenance and applications testing throughout the IRS. Before joining the IRS in 2005, she served as Vice President and Senior Principal of CGI, a $2.9 billion global IT consulting firm formerly known as American Management Systems. With her leadership experience, strong consultative and relationship skills and track record of transformation, Ms. Miller is an outstanding choice to lead the execution of long-term technology vision.
