Marco Forato — Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development at Unum Group

Mr. Marco Forato has been Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development at Unum Group since April 2016 and served as its Senior Vice President for Global Growth Strategy from July 9, 2015 to April 2016. Mr. Forato works closely with Unum's senior leadership team to identify and pursues new markets and business channels in the U.S. and the U.K. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Unum Limited from July 2010 to July 2015. Mr. Forato served as Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Communication at Unum US. Mr. Forato served as Senior Vice President of Millward Brown UK Limited (alternative name Millward Brown Group Inc.) since January 2005. Mr. Forato was responsible for Millward Brown Optimor in Europe. Previously, he served as Senior Director of Brand Analytics of FutureBrand in the U.K. He has extensive experience in brand and business consulting, new business development, and project management. Mr. Forato worked for Booz*Allen & Hamilton and Mitchell Madison Group in New York, as a Management Consultant developing and implementing new strategies for companies across industries worldwide. He holds BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from BS Field of Escola de Engenharia Mau?? from 1988 to 1993 and received MBA degree from University of Virginia - Darden Graduate School of Business Administration from 1996 to 1998.
