Mr. Timothy Gerald Arnold, also known as Tim, has been Chief Executive Officer and President of Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company since January 2015 and July 1, 2014 respectively. Mr. Arnold has been Executive Vice President of Unum Group since July 2014. Mr. Arnold served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Colonial Life at Unum Group. He served as Colonial Life's chief operations officer after joining Unum Group from Unum US in July 2011. During his more than 29 years with the company, he has held leadership positions in Underwriting, Corporate Planning, Client Services, Sales and Benefits. Mr. Arnold serves on the board of directors for the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families and the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation. Mr. Arnold earned a bachelor's degree in management and an MBA in finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
