Mr. Simon G. Bell has been the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at US Ecology, Inc since November 17, 2016 and served as its Executive Vice President of Operations, Field & Industrial Services from August 5, 2016 to November 17, 2016. Mr. Bell served as the Executive Vice President of Operations and Environmental Services at US Ecology, Inc. since June 2014 and served as its Executive Vice President of Operations and Technology Development since May 2013 until June 2014. Mr. Bell served as Vice President of Operations for US Ecology, Inc., from August 13, 2007 to May 2013. He served as Vice President of Hazardous Waste Operations for American Ecology Corp., from December 5, 2005 to August 13, 2007. He also served as Facility Manager at US Ecology Idaho, Inc.'s waste treatment, storage and disposal facility near Grand View, Idaho. He joined American Ecology Corp., in 2001 as Environmental Manager at the Idaho site. Prior to joining American Ecology, Mr. Bell served as General Manager of a hazardous waste disposal facility in Colorado and in various environmental management positions in the mining industry in Idaho and South Dakota. He served as The Environmental Manager of The Idaho site and as General Manager of a competitor's disposal facility in the western U.S. He has more than fifteen years of industry experience. He also offers operating experience in the mining industries. Mr. Bell holds a B.S. in Geology from Colorado State University.
