What do you like best about the leadership team?
They will give you a lot of responsibility from day 1. They do have high expectations, which pushes you to be better.
I love the open mindedness and time they put in to hear what we suggest. The leadership team is extremely dedicated and knowledgeable.
Leadership leans in on our teams to explore new opportunities, optimize our operations, and explore our interests which often become bigger company-wide initiatives. There are always open doors for employees and we work very closely across the board.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The performance-based bonus quarterly is nice

Everyone is an expert in their field
Everyone will help you and support you as best as they can. People working at Valnet are all very ambitious, but also so welcoming.
My team is very open and it was easy to integrate
We have a very friendly staff and everyone works closely together to make sure we drive success for each other.
Everyone is collaborative, I haven't seen this at my previous companies. Valnet truly understands teamwork.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is always ready and eager to help
Because we move so fast, you can actually see the direct impact of your involvement in projects right away, it's extremely rewarding. The people are also amazing.
The company puts purpose into every event
Friendly co-workers. Lots of on-site and off-site events, including holiday parties, summer events, etc. Our IT team even hosts an annual bbq and our CTO cooks with his team for all of our employees.
What did you like most about the interview process?
No wasted interviews in the process
Meeting with different key stakeholders in the business. It helped me understand the work environment from different perspectives.
It was honest, the manager and recruiter were open about the role and its requirements, it was very upfront
A lot of exploration of my interests and my personal experiences. We talked a lot about the overall industry including publishing, publishing tech, etc.
