Executive Bio

Mr. James T. Jenson, also known as Jim has been Senior Vice President and General Manager of MOCVD at Veeco Instruments Inc. since May 2013. Mr. Jenson served as Vice President of Marketing at Veeco Instruments Inc. He served as the Vice President and General Manager of Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) of Veeco Instruments Inc., since July 5, 2006. Mr. Jenson was responsible for overseeing these important new Veeco technologies as they make the transition from development to production for next-generation thin film magnetic heads (TFMHs). Mr. Jenson joined Veeco from Brooks Automation, where he held senior marketing, operations and product management positions over the last 12 years. In his most recent position, he ran product marketing for a $300 million division of Brooks. He has served in the US Navy and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Engineering Management.
