Executive Bio
Dan Calderwood serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Veritiv. In this role, Dan leads Customer Experience, Data Analytics, Digital Commerce, Marketing, Pricing, as well as Category Management Operations.
Dan previously served as Senior Vice President – Facility Solutions, Digital, and Marketing, where he focused on the growth strategy for the Facility Solutions business as well as advancing the digital commerce strategy across all segments. Before that, he served as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Management where he was responsible for creating and implementing marketing, category management, inventory management, and strategic sourcing strategies to drive growth for Veritiv’s Packaging and Facility Solutions businesses.
Prior to joining Veritiv, Dan spent seven years at Tempur+Sealy in commercial leadership roles for the company’s Sealy and Stearns & Foster brands. He was Vice President of Marketing for the Sealy Portfolio where he had general management responsibility for this business. While in this role, Dan led the commercial transformation that propelled Sealy to number one in market share (from number three) while growing profit at a faster rate than sales. Dan also spent 10 years at the Kohler Company in product management, national accounts, and sales roles in both the retail and commercial markets.
Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from Trinity University and an MBA from the Georgia Tech
