Executive Bio
Mr. Albert F. Beninati, Jr., also known as Al, serves as the President of Specialty Catalysts at W.R. Grace & Co. and previously served as its President of Grace Catalysts Technologies Segment since June 2014. Mr. Beninati joined Grace after 24 years in the chemical industry, most recently as Vice President, Municipal Water Treatment at Univar. Previously, he was with Nalco Chemical Company for 22 years. After successful roles throughout Nalco's commercial organization, he held leadership roles for several divisions including Food & Beverage North America as well as units in Chemicals/Power and Environmental Hygiene/Institutional segments. He began his career in the United States Army, serving in leadership roles in the 65(th) Engineer Battalion of the 25(th) Infantry Division. Mr. Beninati earned his Bachelor of Science in General Engineering/Chemistry from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
