Mr. Steven R. Weingarten serves as Senior Vice President of Leasing and Director of Southeast Region at Weingarten Realty Investors. Mr. Weingarten served as Senior Vice President of Anchor Tenants at Weingarten Realty Investors. He was responsible for Weingarten Realty's anchor tenant programs nationally and has been with WRI for 20 years. Prior to joining WRI, he served as Director of Leasing with IME Properties and has 24 years experience in the real estate industry. Mr. Weingarten is an International Council of Shopping Centers past State Director, past Texas Idea Exchange Chairman, current Dean of the School of Open Air Centers for the ICSC University of Shopping Centers and co-chair of the Open Air Conference and committee member. Mr. Weingarten received his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University, where he attended the School of Foreign Service.
