Mr. Michael J. Kasbar, also known as Mike, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of World Fuel Services Corp. since January 1, 2012 and July 2002 respectively. Mr. Kasbar served as the Chief Operating Officer of World Fuel Services Corp. from July 2002 to January 1, 2012. From January 1995 to July 2002, Mr. Kasbar served as Chief Executive Officer of Marine Fuel Services Segment at World Fuel Services Corp. He co-founded Trans-Tec Services, Inc. and serves as its Chairman of the Board. From September 1985 to December 1994, Mr. Kasbar was an officer and Director at Trans-Tec New York and its affiliated companies. In 1983, Mr. Kasbar started Gray Bunkering Services which purchased marine fuel and lubricants for a large in-house shipping fleet while providing brokerage services. He has been Chairman of the Board of World Fuel Services Corp. since May 29, 2014 and its Director since June 1995. He holds Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from State University of New York.
