Mr. Clay M. Gaspar has been President of WPX Energy, Inc. since December 1, 2017 and its Chief Operating Officer since November 2, 2015. Mr. Gaspar served as Senior Vice President of WPX Energy, Inc. since November 2, 2015 until December 1, 2017. He served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Resource Development at WPX Energy, Inc. since October 27, 2014. He served as Vice President of Mid-Continent at Newfield Exploration Co., since July 2012. He worked for Anadarko Petroleum and Mewbourne Oil in a number of technical and leadership roles. He is a Member of The Society of Petroleum Engineers. Mr. Gaspar holds BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and MS in Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences Engineering from The University of Texas System.
