J. Kevin Vann — Senior VP & CFO at WPX Energy

Mr. J. Kevin Vann has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of WPX Energy, Inc. since March 2014. Mr. Vann served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of WPX Energy, Inc. since March 31, 2014 and served as its Chief Accounting Officer and Controller from December 2011 to November 12, 2014. Mr. Vann has 20 years of financial and accounting experience, entirely in support of oil and gas companies and activity. He served as a Vice President of WPX Energy, Inc. since December 2011. From 2006 to 2011, he served as Controller of the exploration and production business of The Williams Companies, Inc. Mr. Vann served in various financial and accounting roles for Williams from 1998 to 2006. He joined WPX via the spinoff from Williams, where he served for 14 years in various roles, including Controller for the E&P and Power businesses, as well as Accounting Director and Manager of Risk Assessment & Analysis. He has experience in deal structure, financial contracts and managing commodity and credit risk. Mr. Vann worked at Arthur Andersen in Tulsa from 1993 to 1998. He has been a Director at Apco Oil & Gas International Inc. since March 31, 2014. He holds graduate of Oklahoma State University.
