Mr. Terry A. Shirey has been President of Nevada State Bank, a division of ZB, National Association since September 8, 2014 and its Chief Executive Officer since January 2017. Mr. Shirey serves as Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation. He oversees all five banking lines of business ' retail, real estate, small business, commercial and private banking ' as well as all bank operations in Nevada. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Nevada State Bank since September 8, 2014. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Nevada State Bank since 2008 until September 8, 2014 and its Executive Vice President until September 8, 2014. He has more than 19 years of experience in the financial industry, with the past 12 spent managing finance and operations for major banks and bank holding companies. Prior to joining the banking industry, he served as an Audit Manager of McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, supervising audits of financial institutions, including multi-bank holding companies. Mr. Shirey served as a Senior Vice President, Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of Western Alliance Bancorporation until June 20, 2008 and served as its Vice President. He served as Director of Nevada State Bank. He serves as Vice-Chair of the College of Southern Nevada Foundation. He served as Chairman of the Nevada Bankers Association. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce. He is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA). He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wyoming.
