Mr. Thomas E. Laursen serves as an Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation and has been its General Counsel and Secretary since 2004. Mr. Laursen served as Senior Vice President of Zions Bancorp. since 2004. Mr. Laursen served as Partner of Holme of Roberts & Owen, LLC from 1999 to 2004. He joined the Zions in 2004. He started his legal career in 1984 with Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City, where he was a member of the Sullivan & Cromwell's banking and corporate practice groups for ten years. He practiced with O'Conner Cavanagh in Tucson and Phoenix for five years and with Holme Roberts & Owen in Denver and London, England for five years. Mr. Laursen has substantial experience in banking, mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate matters. Mr. Laursen graduated from Columbia Law School with a J.D. and has a B.A. and an M.A. from the University of Arizona.
