He served as a Senior Executive Vice President of Marcus & Millichap, Inc. from May 2015 to March 31, 2016. He served as the Chief Strategy Officer of Marcus & Millichap, Inc. since September 2013 and as its Senior Vice President from 1997 to May 2015. He served as Senior Vice President at Marcus & Millichap from 1997 to September 2013. He served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Institutional Property Advisors. He served as Managing Director of Research and Advisory Services at Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, Inc. and directs its National Multi Housing Group.
