BIO: Mr. Richard J. Harshman, also known as Rich, has been Chairman Chief Executive Officer of Allegheny Technologies Incorporated since May 1, 2011 and its President since August 1, 2010. Mr. Harshman served as the Chief Operating Officer of Allegheny Technologies Inc. since August 1, 2010. Mr. Harshman served as an Executive Vice President for Finance of Allegheny Technologies Incorporated from October 21, 2003 to August 1, 2010 and served as its Chief Financial Officer from December 2000 to August 1, 2010. Mr. Harshman served as Head of shared services, including procurement and information technologies of Allegheny Technologies Incorporated since October 21, 2003. Mr. Harshman had been responsible for all accounting, financial, treasury, tax and internal audit functions and for investor relations. He joined Teledyne, Inc. as a Member of the Corporate Internal Audit Department in 1978 and served in increasingly important roles at both the corporate and operating levels. Mr. Harshman served as Senior Vice President for Finance at Allegheny Technologies Incorporated from December 2001 to October 2003 and served as its Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer from December 2000 to December 2001. From September 2000 to December 2000, Mr. Harshman served as Vice President, Controller and Acting Chief Financial Officer of Allegheny Technologies Incorporated. Previously, he served as Vice President for Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Allvac since July 1998 and served as Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration from 1995. He has been a Director of Ameren Corporation since June 2013. He has been Vice Chair of Allegheny Conference On Community Development since January 01, 2014. He serves as vice chairman of the board of trustees at Robert Morris University. He is a Member of the board of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers. He is a member of the board of directors of the Laurel Highlands Council, Boy Scouts of America (Greater Pittsburgh Area). He is also a member of the Chairman's Council of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Board of Trustees. He was a Director of the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association. He has received many accolades, including being named one of the Most Influential People in Business of 2011 by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He was also honored with the Best CFO Award in 2008 by Institutional Investor and named 2008 CFO of the Year (public company category) by the Pittsburgh Business Times. BIO: Mr. Tony R. Thene has been the Chief Executive Officer and President at Carpenter Technology Corp. since July 1, 2015. Mr. Thene served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Carpenter Technology Corp. from January 31, 2013 to July 1, 2015. With 27 years of experience, he is a seasoned finance executive having served in plant accounting, controllership, general management, divisional and corporate finance positions throughout his career. He has significant mergers, acquisitions and joint venture experience, plus process industry experience, having spent the vast majority of his professional life at a global, publicly traded metals company. Prior to Carpenter, Mr. Thene served as the Chief Financial Officer of Engineered Products & Solutions Business Group at Alcoa Inc. from August 1, 2010 to January 30, 2013 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. He served as Controller and Vice President of Alcoa Inc. since January 2008 until August 2010. He was responsible for the Alcoa's worldwide accounting systems and records, corporate fiduciary financial processes and the preparation and filing of Alcoa's financial statements and reports. He served as a Director of Ivestor Rlations of the Corporation. During his 18 years with Alcoa, Mr. Thene served in a series of financial management positions including Chief Financial Officer of Global Mill Products and Vice President of Finance for Alcoa World Alumina and Chemicals. He worked as Plant Controller at two locations before being named manufacturing manager for the Alumina Chemicals business in Arkansas. In 1998, he joined the Alcoa Forgings business in Cleveland, Ohio as Division Controller , then in 2001 he moved to New York as manager of the corporate financial analysis and planning group, he was named Vice President of Finance for Alcoa World Alumina and Chemicals in 2002, then Chief Financial Officer of Global Mill Products. He served as a Director of Pittsburgh Mercy Health System, Inc., until March 28, 2016. He has been Director of Carpenter Technology Corp. since July 1, 2015. He is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Indiana State University (1983) and received an MBA Degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2001. Mr. Thene is a Certified Public Accountant.
