BIO: Mr. Michel Vounatsos has been the Chief Executive Officer of Biogen Inc. since January 6, 2017. Mr. Vounatsos served as the Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President of Biogen Inc. since April 18, 2016 until December 2016. He is a sophisticated global business leader who has a track record of commercial success and creativity. He joined Biogen after a 20 year career at Merck, where he various positions including served as president, Primary Care Business Line and Merck Customer Centricity. Prior to this role, he held leadership positions at Merck across Europe and in China. He has been Director of Biogen Inc. since January 6, 2017. Mr. Vounatsos attended the Universite Victor Segalen, Bordeaux II, in France, receiving his C.S.C.T. certificate in Medicine. He received his M.B.A. from the HEC School of Management in Paris.

Michael S. Weiss

BIO: Michael S. Weiss has served as TG’s Chairman, President and CEO since December 2011. Mr. Weiss is also currently a director of the Company. From 2002 to 2009, Mr. Weiss was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Weiss began his professional career as a lawyer with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.S. in Finance from The University at Albany. Based on Mr. Weiss’s biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry experience, as well as his extensive management experience, the Board believes that Mr. Weiss has the appropriate set of skills to serve as a member of the Board. Mr. Weiss also serves as a Director and Executive Vice Chairman of Fortress Biotech, Inc., and as Chairman of the board of directors of Mustang Bio, Inc. Additionally, Mr. Weiss co-founded and served as Co-Portfolio Manager and Managing Partner of Opus Point Partners, LLC from 2009 to 2019.
