BIO: Bill Facteau is a medical device executive with 30 years of experience in the industry. He currently serves on the Boards of Earlens and Aerin Medical. In Nov 2013, Facteau joined Earlens as President & CEO. Prior to Earlens, Facteau held positions as Vice Chairman of ExploraMed and an Entrepreneur in Residence at NEA, respectively. He was Chairman of the Board for Cabochon Aesthetics and a board member at NeoTract and CV Ingenuity prior to their acquisitions. From 2004-2010, Facteau served as President & CEO of Acclarent. Under his leadership, the company went from concept to acquisition in 5 years, raised over $100M and grew revenues to $100M. After the $800M acquisition by J&J, Mr. Facteau served as WW President of their ENT Division from 2010-2012. Prior to Acclarent, Facteau was GM of the Endovascular Division at Abbott Vascular. He joined Abbott via the $683 million acquisition of Perclose, where he was Sales Director. From 1993-1998, he worked at US Surgical. Mr. Facteau received his BA in Political Science from the Univ. of Connecticut.
