Mr. Trefler served as the President of Pegasystems Inc. until October 1999 and Clerk until June 1999. Prior to that, he managed an electronic funds transfer product for TMI Systems Corporation. He has been a Director of Chordiant Software, Inc. since April 2010 and Pegasystems Inc. since 1983. In a three decade career, Mr. Trefler has been a visionary leader, a technology change-agent, an innovative philanthropist and a trusted advisor to business executives around the world. Most recently, as COO at Mimecast, he helped bring the company public in 2015, grew their annual revenue from roughly $80M to over $400M in four years and scaled the team from 350 employees to 1,800, while expanding offices across North America, Europe and the Middle East. Ed holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in English from Boston University.
