Was decent to begin with, but feels like it's progressively getting worse. Total void of leadership, they don't really care about the FTEs, and they keep dealing with the absolute worse contract resources in the entire IT market. The products and services we sell do not bring the customer value.

Who actually likes interviews? I got the job, so I guess it was ok, they didn't really prepare me for the level of worthlessness in many departments though.

Tired of dealing with the lies and incompetence of contractors and honestly, many of the FTEs. Middle management is way too heavy, and too many are not technical at all (for an IT company).

Communication and competency, drop the off/near shore incompetent contractors and focus on current employees. Hold poor performers accountable, deal with apps that should be shelved or redone, communicate. There is a total void of leadership.

The pay is ok, benefits are pretty lacking, but the annual bonus is usually pretty good. Doesn't make up for all the things we have to deal with regarding the corporate culture of incompetence though, especially when dealing with off/near shore contractors.
