The interview process was very nice. They took into consideration my old job, past work with the company, and gave me fair compensation for the new job that I was applying to.

The best part about the compensation package is the prescription drug coverage. I am able to get coverage for my prescription drugs, including expensive name brand ones without spending a large amount of money or meeting a deductible each year.

I think that the key to improving work life in my department is to hire employees with longevity/staying power who are looking to make a career in their current department. We go through dozens of employees who can't keep up with the work load. Being understaffed decreases our productivity.

The company culture needs to put more emphasis on helping people who try to help themselves like senior citizens and veteran's and focus less on those who don't want to help themselves like the homeless. The homeless population creates a lot of tension in our organization and are given more perks.

The leadership team needs to learn that the employees are the ones who do the work/are used to the way that the work is done. Understaffed departments hurts and does not help the cause. We are given insane assignments that cannot be completed but told no over time will be allowed. It's a bad balance

I think there is to much work, too many tasks assigned to be done in the average work day. The work load is not split evenly among the members of our department so we end up having some people work overtime and others who are done in a couple hours. There needs to be more balance.
