Sound simulataneously claims to "make deep investments in its people" while in the last 5 years eliminating 90% of the loyal leadership which grew Sound from a niche outfit in Tacoma to a nationwide organization. The results of that speak for itself.

This company made a venture into Emergency Medicine, although they are aHospital Medicine group. They do well with Hospital Medicine but did not know Emergency Medicine or the culture of physicians that work EM. They lasted less than a year and lost a huge amount of Money. I would NEVER go back!

People are very nice but company is unstable.

good if you are happy staying in the position originally hired. As a business colleague there are very few chances for advancement

Overall compensation is market competitive, not particularly remarkable in either positive or negative ways.

base salary is good, bonus incentive is appealing

Flexibility and autonomy with culture of accountability

Compensation is very fair and incentives are reachable if one works hard. Great incentive plan!

The medical benefits arent the best. Being a health care org we should have the best coverage.

Very undervalued. Underqualified people are promoted to run the programs

People that work for Sound are now viewed as commodities to be used up, rather than investments, in anticipation of the "next big transaction payour", where we're bought or merged. Instead of a quality product, its all about EBIDTA

They paid traveling staff significantly more than local physicians.

Payed less than the same position at other companies but expected to do more.

Meetings are good, schedulers are fantastic, local docs are great, but they failed to recruit locally.
