I was able to do it over the phone, but that might not be standard.

It actually really is nice giving a full counseling and helping understand all of the components of their plan. They seem to really appreciate it, so it gives you the warm fuzzies for a couple of seconds.

Well lit, free coffee machine -bring your own mug-, occasionally higher-ups might try an employee engagement game, but who has the time to dress up their pet and take pictures. Some managers actually say thank you for getting stuff done, that's nice.

If we could get on board and provide the same level of customer care. Some coworkers do fine and go a little beyond for full counseling, others do the absolute minimum and guarantee an angry callback or returned case that someone *else* has to deal with.

It's possible to actually message some of them on MS Teams, and they make a point to be civil, if not pleasant. But prepare to be told to go back to your tools and not have your question directly addressed a lot. If you get one higher up who will answer you clearly, you're lucky.

You are stuck between an angry caller and another team 12 hours away, who respond vaguely at best. Answering back to back phones calls with barely 8 seconds between them for 8 hours makes you super hoarse. Being able to have a literal 30sec - 1 minute between calls to decompress would help a lot.
