I never see them so I cannot say that they are great. But my limited interactions seemed like they didn't care about speaking to us. Very generalized answer not genuine.

It's difficult to tell if they are party to the issues or oblivious to them , but it's the same boardroom elite-types that brought us cube sharing in a pandemic. I think there's genuine shock on their part that they are expected to communicate, and more importantly, listen.

focusing more on innovation, staying up to speed with the dynamic employment market. There is a cookie cutter approach currently. Quality of life for employees and a focus on shareholders, this would lead to a better experience for a customer

Listening more to employees. Take care of your employees, and they'll take care of your clients. Stamp out autocratic & bureaucratic sub-cultures and lean into the Schwab company values, which are fairly good but not consistently followed.

De-centralize control, empower the business. Tie technology to the client, make it part of business P&L. Focus on client experience, employee experience. Measure ever wait time in every slow process cut red tape.

Recognize experience that comes from the outside. You can have 20 years of experience and it means nothing. At schwab you pay your dues in time. Outside talent need not apply

The leadership team aren't exactly the warm and fuzzy type. Everyone talks about how "friendly" everyone is at Charles Schwab. That's not necessarily true. Managers are not very friendly and neither are the team members.
