Our Company (at least, from my experience) is very accepting and tolerant of individuals with different backgrounds, sexual orientations, and identities. The SMT should stop bringing previous coworkers in at high level positions. It looks like nepotism as these positions are not advertised. More people need to adopt a proactive mindset. There are certain depts that are happy to wait and have the job done for them.
