I feel undervalued because nobody acknowledges the incredibly high amounts of stress and anxiety that call center employees experience. We are on those phones all day essentially answering questions easily found with a quick internet search and doing transactions that Agents should be able to handle

Leadership team needs to communicate better amongst itself. A person hired as a Supervisor Intern should not be given unmonitored control over his or her team. The whole purpose of an internship is to learn the job and see if it's a good fit. It's inefficient having an intern manage an employee.

The systems are so outdated that aside from constant issues, processing a simple transaction is a nightmare. The training is too long; you sit in a room for 7 weeks while they tell you not to worry about remembering everything. Then you're put on the call floor and realize training didn't cover this

It's hard to say at this point because in training, all I heard and saw was how great the culture and environment is at Progressive. I started to believe it. However, now 7 months later, I realize it was all smoke and mirrors; incentives to invoke un-earned loyalty and blind faith in the company.
