I feel like the work we do matters. And the people are just a nice bonus. If you don't like the people you work with, it can make a great job you love doing, miserable. I don't think anyone feels that way here.

I am in a limbo state at this point. I'm not doing what I was brought in the company to do yet (hopefully). I have been bounced around from project to project for the first couple months and didn't really get going on anything meaningful

New leadership at the very top is needed IMO. The company has outgrown the CEO's leadership capabilities. The board possesses too little corporate experience and is reluctant to make changes. A new CEO plus morale reset are needed. Maybe stop relying on booze giveaways to win people over.

For me personally, I have a tech lead that is on a power trip, and has to have everything their way. Even when they acknowledge that their way is probably not the best way to do things.

I tried to reach out numerous times to project leadership and my manager only to be rebuffed and told that it wasn't happening. I've come to the conclusion that they don't want you to speak honestly. Amberly Smith and Amanda Alexander foster a hostile work environment, they have been unconstrained.

No technical progression within the Company, lack of opportunities to learn domain knowledge from those who do know the domain being worked on (*if* there are sufficiently senior staff on the team, which is not always a given), sprints ignore routine maintenance of development environments.

Provide adequate and sufficient leave, stop rewarding mangers and new employees with compensation they haven't earned over the current staff, paying better wages, offering better health benefits (wife's gyno visit wasn't covered by an in network doctor!), actually valuing employees.

Radiance has events and free things they give employees that work in the building, but not to people that are earning them contract wins by working in the classified sections. We are held back from doing team building activities and building relationships with the client because we have to take PTO

Provide better benefits, better leave, better managers, and higher, more market level compensation, and reward those that have put in the effort to achieve mission/contract success, rather than blowing it on the managers and corporate staff.
