My immediate manager is emotionally intelligent, goal oriented, and recognizes talent. He's an excellent mentor.
I'm not sure if it's that we all bond together because we're all in the trenches together but we work with some really good people. We genuinely care about well being and love to support each other.
Very casual, it was fun to talk. They really sell you on the culture and benefits.
The job title is mainly a place to secure budget. The actual job duties will depend on executive leadership and their wants in the moment. A lot of what is expected is not data driven or customer driven. Then they want to go fast and change direction without closing the loop.
Instead of enabling teams, obstacles are created. There is very little that gets done in the meetings. The culture at the top is toxic. I've never worked at a place where there has been so many that have so little confidence in executive leadership. There is not a leader heading this organization.
The president needs to be removed. It's been 9 years. The culture has been toxic and turnover has been high the entire tenure. The only reason the company has survived is due to the hard working expats that come from Taiwan to support the failing budgets and recover the sales.
