I love the culture and the people, but the pay is terrible and honestly I think we'd easily be able to hire and retain employees if we just ensured that everyone was paid enough to sustain themselves on.

Low pay for a lot of work, high burn-out rates while being pushed to go faster for company profit. Company is VERY stingy about time off and discourage vacations while spending more money for mental health counseling. VERY pushy about company culture and possessive of break time.

They work hard to give everyone lots of opportunities to get to know everyone in the company and celebrate our achievements.

We have a shared break together regularly that helps us bond, and we have a lot of fun activities that the team does together as well.

We are all very comfortable with one another and have no problems asking questions, sharing tips, and comparing funny things we found in the course of our work.

They are very resistant to coming even close to competitive wages, let alone a real living wage, and don't really take your previous experience into account for your starting pay.

They need to offer more competitive pay and hire more people to handle the workload. We're being asked to do a lot of work with specialized knowledge for very low hourly rates and very few vacation days.

I have been told that "if I don't like my pay then I can find another job." I was told that when onboarding, but my work load and the specialized skills asked for clearly suggest I should be paid more.
