Being paid at least industry standards and not being held back due to unrealistic views of how Paychex compares to other companies.
Realizing that their expectations for employee success are unreasonable and that the benefits they once touted as their reasoning for lower than average pay scale are now offered by their competitors as well as higher pay.
Generally my coworkers/peers are wonderful and in the same boat as me. We all work to improve things as well we can, but burnout has caused us to lose many very good, tenured workers. This loss has created an overall strain on remaining employees.
The interviews themselves vary from manager to manager - skills for interviewing are not always at a level necessary to identify the right employees. It can be very hard to get into leadership without leadership experience, causing employees to leave Paychex to get this experience.
We do not have the experience and staffing to keep up with the rate of sales - it is unmanageable growth and the company has not kept up with industry pay for its employees and technology updates that may be an investment but would positively impact client and employee satisfaction exponentially.
