Ive been with Racetrac for 4 years. Yes it still had the same cons as any retail profession would have but they really do care about their employees. Through their mental health programs, promotions, the 3 raises as a company whole, appreciation events. Love it.

We have each others back. Theougj the oandemic, the snow storm in texas, or on a weekly, day to day basis.

The people I work with, the development, the mentors (not bosses) I get to learn from. The transparency from our home office, the included mindset for everyone.

Being a GM, i love the open platform to disucss wins/losses. Any advice, help with civerage, or re training. I can reach out to anyone for anything i need help with. Were all a TEAM. No matter what store location you are at.

My pay alone is great. Most people think "oh its just a gas station". But, Between the raises, and now overall comp, Racetrac definitelt pays their employees fairly. And the benefits are great too. You can decide everything or nothing youd like to have covered. I just wish theu had pet insurance.
