They're hard working, quick paced, I don't feel like I'm the only one trying and that's a good feeling when you enjoy working hard and with a team.
We try to keep negative remarks at the least constructive. Most people on the crew have a good sense of humor. They help one another, working as a unit. If someone has empty hands they find another coworker to help.
Being appreciated for hard work and a positive outlook. Both aren't easy and like many things in life also take work. By being recognized for those characteristics and appreciated gives you the strength needed to keep each day a positive, good experience.
It was sincere. It was professional without being stressful. None of the questions asked were too absurd. They respect that you are your own entity (accepting oddly styled, dyed hair, piercings within reason, tattoos) as long as you work hard and play nice.
Currently shortstaffed, management is not always around or available. When you do get a one on one moment, your requests are heard. Despite the stress they endure they keep an upbeat, can-do attitude even when on obvious burnout. Management loves the company they work for and it shows.
Affordable, great Healthcare and a decently good retirement plan. Retirement is now nowhere near what it once was but still reasonably good. After some years with the company you get nearly a month of PTO. "Bonuses" are included in the form of gift certificates with a decently good sum.
