What leadership? My department manager is yelled at for a single box being empty on the floor. Upper management gets paid 100k while we get payed pennies and have our hours cut. They dont listen, nor care. They don't treat us as human beings.

Leadership teams function extremely well when everyone is included for the best success of the company and not selfish relations. A team needs Leadership to run on a stable daily basis. If the leader is not practicing good selfless management every teammate member would enjoy coming to work everyday

The company stock is privately owned so it doesn't fluctuate as much as public stock.

There's other stores where employee own they pay more lawmore was with the job they will require to do management. Ask us to do 3 task for task at a time. It means we have to do more work for less pay

The employees try to make the best of the bad situation, we are there for the health insurance, ESOP, and because mostly we are unqualified to go anywhere else. Stick together and make the best of it

Actually post the real wage on your site. The company posted 17 an hour for part time, when the cap at the time was 16.50. Have management remember who you actually are, give them time to do the interview without being interrupted.
Internal candidates should have notification or some communication after applying to other roles.
More to the point question. Deeper prior employment checks.

All the focus is being as cheap as possible and that includes our wages.
Apply the same rules. Don't give PCs to one person but not the other people that are also doing the same thing wrong. Seems like they try to get rid of you right before you are fully vested.

Unrealistic expectations from management that has no clue in what job entails and no interest in finding out. How about they take the time to find out.
They've had years to fix issues that plaque numerous stores. Bottom line is WinCo doesn't care about its employees. It's all about profit and how to cut corners to make managers huge bonuses while employees get crumbs.
