WinCo Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Single interview, single interviewer. The process was open and direct.

I liked my experience interviewing with both of the managers that I have had at WinCo, however I did not like the fact that I was pressured into transferring by my current manager.

my manager at the time, be sure to ask me the right question it made me feel comfortable during my interview.

Review from Product Dept

Structured questions and openness from management

It was quick and easy

It was a normal Interview process with someone that seemed interested in you as a person

They valued my ability and work experience that was relevant to the job title.

The better you are at answering the better the odds of getting the job

Management is pretty honest about expectations

When i started working at Winco it was a very good company .Now everything has changed and the management is terrible.Very Very Toxic. Making winco a very hostile environment to work at.

When being hired for a job, you get to meet the person who you will be working with within that department. It's not someone else who's doing the interview.

The acting managers were considerate of my goals and aspirations

They made me feel comfortable

Reverse interviewing the managers to see their insite

It was a simple interview at home. How easy!

That depends on what you apply for. Entry level expect a 10-15 minute interview. Easy questions that can be answered with common sense. Management positions expect a 1-2 hour interview with questions that can test your ethics, character, and your sense of right and wrong.

Quick and informative good questions

Talking to the GM and hearing all the great things he had to say about winco.

The magnet who interviewed me was very easy going and they asked easy questions.

It was sincere. It was professional without being stressful. None of the questions asked were too absurd. They respect that you are your own entity (accepting oddly styled, dyed hair, piercings within reason, tattoos) as long as you work hard and play nice.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Actually post the real wage on your site. The company posted 17 an hour for part time, when the cap at the time was 16.50. Have management remember who you actually are, give them time to do the interview without being interrupted.

Internal candidates should have notification or some communication after applying to other roles.

More to the point question. Deeper prior employment checks.

Are you guys picking out roast retaliation

Not discrimination Please , we are same , we need to work

The interview managers. Need more knowledge

Negotiating the pay of the employe

Review from Operations Dept

I got interviewed twice!? the other person wouldn't hire me, than a month later they did hire me.

Review from Product Dept

Management needs to be trained properly. My interviewer admitted to my face that he was making mistakes.

Review from Operations Dept

Hurry up and be courteous. This is an entry level job and shouldn't require 3 stages. Management doesn't take care of personal protective protocols and equipment around the facility, but they've got endless energy to interview and waste time in useless situations of exerting their seniority. Sad...
