BlueRock Therapeutics LP is a clinical stage cell therapy harnessing the power of cell therapy to create a pipeline of new medicines for people suffering from neurological and ophthalmic diseases. Two of our novel investigational cell therapies, bemdaneprocel (BRT-DA01) for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and OpCT-001 for the treatment of primary photoreceptor diseases are clinical stage programs. BlueRock was founded in 2016 as a joint venture of Versant Ventures and Leaps by Bayer. Our culture is defined by the courage to persist regardless of the challenge, the urgency to transform medicine and deliver hope, integrity guided by mission, and community-mindedness with the understanding that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves.

Love science and talking about it. We get to produce data that helps to move a product along closer to helping people in need.

Everyone is excited about our work and is determined to overcome the challenges for innovative approaches like ours. It feels like we all have a communal investment in getting our work through to patients.

My team is a fantastic group of people - great working dynamic, fast-paced work, great discussion and a joint investment in seeing our project through. The people in our site are all extremely competent and friendly, it truly feels like a collaborative effort when our projects are successful.
Perché ti senti sottovalutato e che cosa ti farebbe sentire meglio con il tuo compenso?
The salaries are not particularly competitive. Recently, seems like experience obtained outside of BlueRock is more valuable than experience within BRT. Promotion rate is very slow for the people who got BRT where it is, while most resources are used to poach new people with better compensations.
