Timelines should be continuously reevaluated for feasibility so that people can deliver quality work without burning out. Everyone is being pushed to hit arbitrary and impossible deadlines with no regard for work-life balance or mental health.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

-It is lower compared other companies in the area

Because my manager get paid more for doing nothing (just being honest here) and we work way beyond our responsibilities. We should get recognized and paid fairly for that.

The LTI incentives are weak compared to other small biotechs and even larger biotechs/pharma.

I believe I perform at a higher level than my title, and consequently, my compensation reflects.

There needs to be open communication about project challenges, both technical and resourcing, with a willingness to shift timelines if needed. Currently all deadlines are strictly enforced even if everyone on the team agrees that they are impossible to meet.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The vast majority of individuals want to do what is right but the organization behavior does not reflect that. Listen to people when they say they are overworked or that a deadline is impossible to meet.

-Better communication across teams is needed to improve collaborative efforts -There are ALOT of projects. Too many projects sometimes. It can be hard to wrap your head around all the platforms, projects and work.
