BlueRock Therapeutics LP is a clinical stage cell therapy harnessing the power of cell therapy to create a pipeline of new medicines for people suffering from neurological and ophthalmic diseases. Two of our novel investigational cell therapies, bemdaneprocel (BRT-DA01) for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and OpCT-001 for the treatment of primary photoreceptor diseases are clinical stage programs. BlueRock was founded in 2016 as a joint venture of Versant Ventures and Leaps by Bayer. Our culture is defined by the courage to persist regardless of the challenge, the urgency to transform medicine and deliver hope, integrity guided by mission, and community-mindedness with the understanding that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves.

I was extremely tentative about a move into industry or biotech. People would make them sound very cold and impartial about their staff and just chugging through the science. I would never want to be part of an environment such as that. BlueRock couldn't be farther from it. Great science AND people.

Everyone is incredibly kind and looks forward to spending time together, helping each other grow as scientists. Our good interactions further improve the work we do.

Interactions with my coworkers. I love the science I'm performing, but the people in the office and lab really make coming in every day something worthwhile.

I truly feel seen and cared about at BlueRock. Particularly that I am more than just a pair of hands doing benchwork, but that I am a part of the team and my input matters.

Every voice matters. I've been part of labs before that they promoted a similar attitude, but I've never felt it to be so true as I do here. In the only two months I've been here, I feel like I've been really accepted as a part of the team, both as a scientist and an individual.
