BlueRock Therapeutics LP is a clinical stage cell therapy harnessing the power of cell therapy to create a pipeline of new medicines for people suffering from neurological and ophthalmic diseases. Two of our novel investigational cell therapies, bemdaneprocel (BRT-DA01) for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and OpCT-001 for the treatment of primary photoreceptor diseases are clinical stage programs. BlueRock was founded in 2016 as a joint venture of Versant Ventures and Leaps by Bayer. Our culture is defined by the courage to persist regardless of the challenge, the urgency to transform medicine and deliver hope, integrity guided by mission, and community-mindedness with the understanding that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves.

People are friendly, eager to work together and contribute ideas or assistance. The social culture is better than most places. The number one risk for success is the fact that we are a relatively small company at 500 people, yet also are split up in a 3-site nature.

I really like the cash-nature of the LTI. I've only ever had RSU and Options in the past and the fluctuating nature of value with those formats can be annoying and misleading.

Clear communications around relative program priorities and intra-program goals. Great communicators who are humble and down to earth in personality. I appreciate the lack of corporate speak and the straightforward, reasonable nature of the LT.

They are eager to get work done in the lab and support program development. They are also highly collaborative and think this is a function of the many team-building events hosted by BRT such as trivias, theme-nights, outings, etc.
