  • This is actually really good. That’s what our product is about. Unless you work in telephone support

  • "Citrix technology enables you to work from anywhere" doesn't answer the question. It depends on department, role, your management, and your reputation. I've heard of people being instructed that they needed to work from the office. Other people work from home frequently.

  • Yes, they run a heavy background check by a third party company called Sterling! They need the info of your previous work experiences (email-phone number of your direct supervisor) from the last 7 years. And actually they send emails, make calls and tried to reach the people on linkedin based on the names.

  • I imagine it depends on who's interviewing you. In our particular engineering team, we don't care much what you look like. Having said that, it's conceivable you could dress so poorly that you would hurt your chances of being hired.

  • Citrix is a technology company that functions like a more traditional company. Business attire is expected when interviewing for a role.

The culture at Citrix is what they call Apple syndrome. If you're skilled at badmouthing your coworkers and shifting blame, you'll do well here regardless of whether or not you're doing any actual work or providing solutions. If you're a person who can find fault in everyone's work while simultaneously doing nothing of value and you can complain loudly enough as to drown out anyone who might want to bring up the fact that you do nothing substantive, this company's for you! Worked here for 11yrs avoiding multiple layoffs and management reconfigure RIFs all of which seemed to support the one major flaw. Upper management is dead wood trying to cover their assets instead of innovating and doing what's good for the company or the employees. There are better companies to work for in the same areas. Don't waste your time at Citrix.

  • A little like American sales office in the 80s - high pressure, individualistic recognition, high achievers are praised and medium performers - almost publicly, shamed. Spreadsheet management and little attention to individual aspirations. Managers are viewed as elite club and the importance of managers is exaggerated to stimulate IC’s to work harder and covet promotions, not only financially, but more psychologically

  • Yes it varies greatly by location. In general it is okay but as a a woman I face more of exclusion from the “boys’ club” than the harassment. The ratio is still very unequal and task based: girls do hr/marketing, boys do tech & management

  • Very similar interviewing process. Nothing incredibly different or difficult. Do your research, learn about the company and come prepared to illustrate what you do with examples and supporting evidence.

  • Depending on the role you will meet your hiring manager, peers, and a functional lead that is connected to your job. After an interview, the time it takes for them to contact you is directly connected with how urgently the position needs to be filled. 1 week is not uncommon, so be patient. If you did well, HR will follow-up with you.

My interview process was a little long, but the expectations were very clear going into it. Wrike is hiring like crazy, and some roles are dependent on others being hired first. I knew that going into it! I know that the process is now being streamlined.
