Compensation is low for rest of medical device industry. There are few benefits to this role, most people stay to help recipients and change the lives of people with hearing loss. A pay increase is warranted for the amount of hours, travel, and requirements of the job.
The toxic culture starts at the top and trickles down. Management does not speak respectfully to employees and there is division throughout the teams. When issues are brought up, they are ignored or explained away by management. HR does not help with toxic environment, even when things are reported
