What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at Eventbrite?
They care less about retaining employess and its based on their personal relationship and if you are able to baby sit your manager's pet. If you perform good, your colleages will make sure you are booted out.

There's an opportunity every week for me to give/receive feedback in a 1:1 with my manager.

I love going to work every day
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Eventbrite?
Not at all - and most of my social life is with my coworkers now :)

I think this is different depending on the office, there's not a lot here in Nashville, but I know it's something we're working on.

Be yourself and have specific examples of what you've done in the past. Do your homework - know the team and what it's working on, as well as the company.
Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from Eventbrite?
I met with the majority of the team I was going to be on, which was great. It took a couple of weeks to hear back, but I heard from my recruiter with timeline updates timely.
What was the most difficult question that was asked during your interview at Eventbrite?
"If Eventbrite were going to open an office somewhere else next year, where do you think they should open it and why"
How would you compare interviewing at Eventbrite to other places you've interviewed?
I loved my interview experience at Eventbrite. I felt prepared by the recruiting team and felt comfortable with all of my interviewers. They asked great questions and allowed me the ability to answer questions in a specific way that can showcase my talents.

In your opinion, what are the most common interview questions that Eventbrite asks?
I'd say there aren't common interview questions because we interview based on competencies and that changes role to role.
How flexible is your work schedule at Eventbrite?
Extremely flexible.
What's the work from home policy like at Eventbrite?
It differs depending on department, but I'm able to work from home whenever I need to!
