The leadership team at Heartland is great, but they are shackled by Global Payments leadership team which is most concerned with profits rather than people.
We are trusting, we have built a safe place to be open about our mistakes and learn from them. We are empowered to a degree to improve our business processes.
Our yearly increases are set before employee performance is assessed so managers aren't really empowered to give yearly raises that keep up with inflation and reward great performance by the employee.
