Some senior leaders genuinely value open dialogue
Transparency and stability in strategy.
Having my experience acknowledged and valued vs just tenure here
For the most part, team members are smart, capable, and willing to help
Coworkers are great, and my role has more flexibility on how to accomplish goals than other places I've worked
Quick response. Internal HR Talent person actually asked for feedback on the interview process. I've had plenty of interviews, but NEVER been asked how the company could improve the process.
A good chunk of leadership is more invested in their personal benefit of company strategy than the company's (or employees'). Women are significantly underrepresented in "equity-eligible" positions, and there is no plan to do anything about it.
The lack of gender diversity here is jarring. It's been a year since a DEI leader was hired, yet there is no movement, no discussion of a strategy to build a pipeline, no change in recruiting behaviors... nothing. Other carriers have a roughly 50/50 gender split in my business unit.
