Mr. Anthony Armstrong has been Head of Global Technology for M&A of Morgan Stanley since October 2015. Mr. Armstrong served as the Head of Technology for The Americas at Credit Suisse Group AG since March 2015 and served as its Co-Head for American Mergers and Acquisitions since July 2011 and served as the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions for Middle East & North Africa from January 1, 2009 to 2010. Mr. Armstrong served as Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Americas M&A group, based in Los Angeles and spearheaded the M&A business in the Western Region of the Americas. He advised companies across a broad range of industries on strategic matters including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and hostile transactions. He also advised on a number of cross border US - MENA region transactions. He joined Credit Suisse First Boston in November 2000 when the Bank merged with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), where he was Officer in the M&A Group. Prior to DLJ, Mr. Armstrong worked for the M&A advisory firm Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. He holds an M.B.A. with honours from Northwestern University and a B.S. from Colorado State University.
