Mr. Ben Goren serves as Managing Director of FTI Consulting, Inc. Mr. Goren was a Principal at BBK, Ltd. Mr. Goren joined BBK from Huron Consulting Group. Mr. Goren also assisted Worldcom and MCI with claims management during the pendency of its bankruptcy. He worked globally with Worldcom's senior procurement team to ensure that the entity that emerged was vibrant and had healthy vendor relationships. Additionally, Mr. Goren has a strong entrepreneurial background which includes helping to found a merchant banking firm that acquired and managed companies in a wide range of industries such as food, textiles, and entertainment, as well as founding a financial advisory firm that advised clients on capital and transactional issues in diverse industries including high-tech, receivables management, consumer finance and specialty manufacturing. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association of Corporate Growth. Mr. Goren earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies from Pitzer College and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
