Mr. Emilio Romano has been Chief Executive Officer of Mexico at Bank of America Corporation since October 20, 2014. Mr. Romano serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Grupo Puerta Alameda. Mr. Romano serves as President of ERM & Associates, Inc. He co-founded Border Group LLC in 2001 and serves as its Managing Partner. He served as Chief Executive Officer of SportsYa!, Inc. He served as the President of Telemundo Group, Inc. since October 2011. Mr. Romano was responsible for the entertainment, news and sports divisions, Telemundo Studios, Telemundo International, Telemundo's Digital Media group and mun2, the lifestyle cable network for young bicultural Latinos. He serves as a Partner at the law firm of Calvo, Gonzalez Luna, Moreno, Revilla y Romano, S.C. Mr. Romano has been a Partner in the law firm of Gonzalez, Luna & Perez de Acha since 1995. In October 1998, he co-founded SportsYA Media Group, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2001. He served as Chief Executive Officer, Mexicana of Consorcio Aeromexico S.A. de C.V., (Formerly, Cintra Sa De Cv). Mr. Romano is an entrepreneur in the field of Spanish media. From June 1995 to 1998, he served at Grupo Televisa, S.A. de C.V. as Director of mergers & acquisitions and Vice-President of international operations. He was aviation consultant. He served as an Advisor to several entertainment and media companies. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Compania Mexicana De Aviacion, S.A. De C.V. Mexico from 2004 to 2007. He maneuvered the airline's largest financial restructuring in its 87-year history, organized the launch of low-cost carrier Click Mexicana and engineered the sale of Mexicana to a Mexican investor group. He served as the Vice President of Corporate Development of Grupo Televisa, S.A. de C.V., from 1995 to 1996. From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Romano served in many roles within the Mexican Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, including General Director of Revenue Policy and Federal Fiscal Attorney. He served as Professor of Tax Law in the post-graduate program at Escuela Libre de Derecho since 1994. He has been an Independent Director of TAM S.A. since November 2009. Mr. Romano serves as a Director of Tam Linhas and President of IATA's International Airline Training Fund Council. He served as a Director of Claxson Interactive Group Inc., since November 12, 2001. He served as a Director of Gabriel Technologies Corp. (Formerly, Princeton Video Image Inc.) since September 2001. He served as a Director of Univision Communications from 1995 to 1998. He was responsible for Televisa's operations outside of Mexico and he co-managed Cablevisi n, the largest cable network in Mexico. Mr. Romano has a Law Degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City and was a Graduate student at the City of London Polytechnic.
