Mr. Michael R. Sutcliff has been Group Chief Executive of Accenture Digital at Accenture Plc since December 2013. Mr. Sutcliff served as Senior Managing Director of Financial Services group for North America at Accenture Plc until December 2013. Mr. Sutcliff is responsible for setting Accenture's overall vision and strategy, guiding development of client relationships and leading its efforts to accelerate practice growth. He served as Global Managing Partner, Finance & Performance Management Service Line at Accenture Ltd. Prior to assuming this role in 2008, He served as the inaugural global managing director for Accenture New Businesses where he developed and launched seven new businesses that leverage new operating models and revenue models. He formerly served as managing director of Accenture's Finance & Performance Management group, growing revenues 250 percent over five years. Mr. Sutcliff has more than 20 years of experience in leading business transformation, business architecture, systems integration and outsourcing engagements across multiple geographies and industries. He specializes in large-scale transformation programs involving financial and strategic planning, enterprise performance management, finance operations and reporting, shared services, outsourcing and corporate finance. He was an editor of the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance and has published articles on topics related to innovation, growth strategies and finance leadership. He co-authored the book, CFO Insights: Delivering High Performance (Wiley, 2006) which provides a framework to help finance executives balance the pace and mix of investments required to build distinctive capabilities. Mr. Sutcliff holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical/computer engineering and a Master of Science in business degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
