Mr. Stender E. Sweeney, II has been Executive Vice President and Division Manager for Los Angeles Metro Commercial Banking Division at Wells Fargo & Company since January 27, 2015. Mr. Sweeney served as Regional Vice President and Manager of MUFG Union Bank, N.A. (formerly Union Bank, N.A.) since August 2004. With more than 19 years of financial services experience, he joined Wells Fargo from Wachovia Bank where he was a Director of the Western Banking Group. Mr. Sweeney also worked in the private capital group and served as Vice President and Marketing Manager for the national banking group. Prior to Union Bank, he served as an Investment Analyst of J.P. Morgan Investment Management in New York. He is the Chairman of the 1932 Club in support of the EXPO Center Los Angeles and serves as Board Member for the L.A. Sports & Entertainment Commission, the Central City Association of Los Angeles, and the Undergraduate Advisory Board for the Marshall School of Business at USC. Mr. Sweeney earned his B.A. in political science from Northwestern University and his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
