Mr. Sikhtian serves as Managing Director at Goldman Sachs International and served as its Head of Middle East and North Africa Investment Banking. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1998 as an associate in the Energy and Power Group. In 1999, Suhail transferred on mobility to the High Technology Group in Menlo Park and was responsible for building relationships with the firm's semiconductor clients. He became a vice president in 2000, returned to the Industrials and Natural Resources Group in 2001 and assumed leadership for the firm's oil services banking business globally. Mr. Sikhtian transferred to London in 2005 to cover European Energy clients and assumed leadership of the Middle East North Africa business in 2006. He was named managing director in 2004. Prior to joining the firm, Suhail workedas an engineer for Schlumberger from 1990to 1994 and at JP Morgan in the Global Energy Investment Banking Group from 1996 to 1998. Mr. Sikhtian earned a BS in Engineering from Baylor University in 1989 and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Columbia University in 1996.
