He served as Regional President of Alaska Colorado Idaho Kansas Montana Nebraska Utah Washington Wyoming Operations at Wells Fargo & Company. He oversaw a four-state Rocky Mountain region, encompassing Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and Utah for Wells Fargo & Co. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, most of it with Wells Fargo and its predecessors. In 2002, Utah came under his oversight and in 2003, Montana joined the Rocky Mountain Region. Before that, he spent four years in Texas where he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Austin Region of Wells Fargo Bank, and oversaw 47 stores with assets of $2 billion. Prior to that, he spent 20 years in Colorado with Norwest Bank and its predecessor, United Bank of Denver. He served as Manager of Commercial Banking and Real Estate Banking while at Norwest Bank Denver. Since 1992, he served as President of Norwest Banks in Boulder County with responsibility for five banking locations and $400 million in total assets. He is actively involved in the community. Mr. Honig serves as a Member of Board of Trustees of Denver Art Museum, The. He is on the boards of directors for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, Saint Joseph's Hospital Foundation, University of Wyoming Foundation, Denver Center for the Performing Arts and the Denver Area Boy Scouts.
